Summer Break: We're taking a few days off
until August 16. You can still place orders during that time,
but please be patient as we won't check orders every day.
Customer support is unavailable during the holidays, sorry.
For installation of the A1200 version, the computer must be opened.
A special socket is placed over top of the keyboard-chip of the Amiga,
and a cable makes connection to the backplane where the keyboard can be
connected. The backplane can be mounted on the back of a towercase.
The translation of PC keys to Amiga keys has been adjusted to the
wishes of our customers, because nobody can judge better what's most
useful than the users! The survey showed that the majority of users
prefers this keyboard layout:

All other keys are transferred to the Amiga just as they are printed.
A jumper on Lyra can do small changes to the keymap that brings the layout
a little closer to a real Amiga keyboard: The ALT and Windows-keys are
swapped, so the Amiga keys are located directly next to the space key.
The layout of the numeric keypad will be a 100% copy of the Amiga keypad:
This will only be useful for keyboards that have 18 keys on the numpad
(most PC/Windows keyboards have 17 keys there). With little technical
skills, the additional key can be added to keyboards for example by
KeyTronic and Siemens-Nixdorf.
